BNVD 1431 mk2 Housing

The BNVD1431 mk2 is a binocular night vision device. With the mk2 version, the housing has been optimized again in terms of function and stability. In addition to an improved auto-gating function, a manual gain function is now also available. An integrated IR illuminator with internal status display is already integrated into the bridge.

The lightweight, fiberglass-reinforced housing is extremely durable. High-quality PVS-14 eyepieces and objectives provide high detail sharpness as well as individual diopter adjustment.  

With the Manual Gain function, the brightness/gain of the tubes can be regulated via the push-turn knob. As usual, a deactivatable, sensor-controlled switch-off function is available to the user when folding up. An integrated IR brightener with internal status display is already integrated in the bridge.

One AA battery supplies the device with power for up to 16 hours. An optional battery compartment holds four 1.5V AA batteries and extends the runtime up to 60h. The battery compartment is equipped with a 360° IR strobe.


Operation

A simple push button makes the unit effortless to operate, even under stress. Lens and eyepieces are equipped with easy-grip knurling and can be operated even with gloves. The battery cover can be opened and closed without tools.


Flip-Up Shut-Off

The BNVD1431 mk2 has a sensor-controlled shut-off function when flipped up. When flipping down, the electronics ensure a late switch-on time to prevent the user from being illuminated.

 

Binocular Rotating Design

For more comfortable wear when folded up, the monoculars can be pivoted to the helmet, greatly reducing leverage. When the night vision goggles are folded down, the monoculars can be swung up individually when not in use. A stop screw ensures that when the monoculars are swiveled down, they return to their original position.
